Authenticity reimagined

I spent over 4 years at Abbott helping reimagine their brand as they transformed from a health and wellness company, to a true med-tech brand. Throughout the course of my time there I was able to touch so many aspects of their brand, from ad work to installations to corporate identity, here a smattering of some of my favorite projects.

Abbott's Global Sustainability Report

This report was designed with a clear and consistent layout to ensure readability and accessibility, allowing users to easily navigate through the content without feeling overwhelmed. The structure was carefully crafted to highlight Abbott’s life-changing technologies and their role in advancing sustainability. Visual elements, well-organized sections, and custom edited photography were used to create a seamless reading experience, reinforcing the impact of Abbott’s innovations while maintaining alignment with leading environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. The design strategy not only enhances engagement but also effectively showcases how Abbott’s technologies are making a meaningful difference in global sustainability efforts.

CORPORATE HOUSE ADS

These were ads meant to showcase Abbott's life-changing technologies while still staying true to their purpose of Living life to the fullest. These ads were used in publications like Fast Co., Fortune, and Bloomberg.

ABBOTT PRIDE MONTH

Abbott's has a flourishing LGBTQIA+ corporate network, and to celebrate pride month in 2022, we wanted to come up with a new look and feel that the network and members would be excited about and could rally around. After coming up with a few concepts we landed on a wave like pattern utilizing the pride flag colors. This partnered with the Abbott logo and some simple type treatments allowed for a loud and proud statement to heard across Abbott's campuses, including at its headquarters where it was used on a wall mural within the cafeteria for employees to view and even take photos with.

ICONOGRAPHY LIBRARY

I was part of a team that helped create and build out Abbott's iconography library, including create a set of guidelines around use of the icons. I also helped create a request system in which businesses within Abbott could request icons that didn't exist within the library and our team would work to create custom icons to represent those that might be missing.
